Randomly logging out
 

Is this happening to anyone else? I haven't deleted any cookies, but every now and then the forums will log me out. It happened just a few seconds ago....

argh. it just happened to me.

I think it's automatic.

Cookies delete them self every so offen

it's always happened to me

vBulletin has a cookie timeout, and it will log you out after a number of seconds. I keep mine on like 5000, but unixmad probably has cookie timeout set on the forums for maybe 999. Only way to prevent it, is to raise the cookie timeout, but that requires access to the AdminCP. :(

Because this is very annoying? Oh, and don't even get me started on the folly of the one post, every 60 seconds.

happnes to me somtimes but eh its not the end of the world

it happens to me all the time

it isn't forum based happens to me on everything that uses cookies.

under IE go to tools>Internet Options then look for the histroy section and click on settings and make sure it don't auto magically delete history after 10days or something and make sure it has a fairly large space to store stupid internet cache

60 second post thing is dumb and useless.

Well, surprisingly unixmad actually answered my forum pm last night, and said he would be hiring new forum people soon, so who knows? Maybe I will get that, which I want/need.

60 second thing just needs to fall off of a bridge.

I'd change that back to 30.
