Hehe, I can cause myself personal injury or death simply by installing sound card drivers. :D

waar 05-03-2001 05:49 AM

how?

FxChiP 05-03-2001 05:56 AM

I don't know yet. :P

FxChiP 05-03-2001 05:58 AM

I just saw that before I started downloading the new Sound Blaster PCI 128 drivers, in the agreement.

ReBBisH 05-03-2001 05:59 AM

I got shocked 3 times by doing it ;)

FxChiP 05-03-2001 06:03 AM

Hehehe....

FxChiP 05-03-2001 06:04 AM

Sometimes, it's strange how I can find some funny-ass stuff in legal documents and such. :P

waar 05-03-2001 07:36 AM

you cannot get shocked by installing software. drivers are software.

Hulk Hogan 05-03-2001 10:31 AM

LMAO!!

On the news today:

"A man was killed today while installing his sound card to his computer"

lol I can see it now :D

GraalWarrior2k1 05-03-2001 10:36 AM

Lol, one time my dad was fixing my old comp, and he forgot to unplug it or something, and he opened it up, and put a new video card in, and he got shocked. But it was kind of his own fault for "forgetting" to unplug it.

It's not that impossible given the right circumstances...

Like.. maybe if you were changing the soundcard while sitting in the bathtub and the PC still plugged in :D

actually, i think you can.

welly, the guys who work at Electronics Boutique told me to be careful when I bought my GEForce2 video card. I was like "why" and they said "you may get shocked if you are installing it on a rug"

That is true. not only that, static electricity can RUIN your video card and many other components of a PC, stay away from static!
