About guild deletion

I posted this here as well as this is the most visited forum on the boards.

Ok, I want to get your opinions on this, and I'll take it to Stefan to see what he thinks.

Ok, read this before you vote:

This has always been a problem with how guild deletions should be handled. Should they be deleted by amount of members and activity, or by activity alone? Since you are the main ones involved with guilds, I think you should have a say. So what do you think? Now vote.

Remember: This is just an opinions poll, results may or may not have an effect.

I don't know, really.

My (Malicious Misery) guild doesn't have ten members, and we're not inactive, but we're not active, either. I occasionally get on tag, so does Adre...Sisok occasionally, too...but, by your guild deletion standards, we'd be deleted. :O

I think that if a guild atleast logs in and updates their guild database every week or every other week, it would be fine. I'm not sure if that option is still working as I'm not even a member of any guild period (I don't even have a Guild Manager tag).

Hmm. Well.

We haven't added any new members lately. It's more of a private group, you know? People who are privileged enough to join join...and people who aren't...well...don't. :T

I posted in the other forums but I will post here too:

E-mail the leaders of each guild and if there is a response to not delete the guild then don't delete it. Easy as pie.

Inactivity...because what if a guild is active but doesn't have 10 members yet. Or doesn't want 10 members, I knew this one guild that only allowed max 5 members.

Kasuagi 01-10-2002 02:10 PM

if someone wears the guild tag, it shouldn't be deleted

Lycia 01-11-2002 01:57 AM

Inactivity plz.

CowgirlBebop 01-11-2002 02:46 AM

inactivity

Googi 01-11-2002 04:05 AM

innactivity, it can get the bigger innactive guilds deleted as well.

Inactivity. Of course, some guilds are probably inactive because the guild cp is still not working right. :(

Vyse_the_Blue_Rogue 01-11-2002 07:38 PM

I don't even know if my guild is official
do they send you an email if its rejected?

Sir Triclops 01-12-2002 08:53 AM

Yes, guilds in the queue are sent an e-mail if it's approved or deleted.

Bhala just resigned today, so I'm full Guild Manager now. I'm just waiting on them to fix my accesses and stuff.
