Guild deletions in 1 week.
In one weeks time, I will be going through and deleting the remainder of guilds with less than 10 members. This should be more than enough time for you guys to get some members in your guild. I'm extending this deletion time to give you guys a little more time. But be advised that if you don't have 10 members by next Monday your guild will be deleted. This is just a notification. I will not be creating new guilds until Next monday.

My friend Scalper has been waiting for a guild for like 10 days, speed this up. You guys could be alot faster, just delete all guilds with under 10 members NOW. There are like 600 guilds and we don't need 80% of them. DIE DIE DIE LAZY PEOPLE!!!

Deleting guilds based on the number of members isn't a good system of getting rid of guilds at all.
It should be based on how active or inactive the guilds are. |

Why should a decent job be done? I'm only a paying customer, along with every other person creating a guild. SILLY GUY! |
Delete Illusion and die, somehow!@
Even though I'm the only remaining Illusion member that plays Graal often :p |
DO all 10 members have to setnick?

what if?
what if a guild is meant to have less than 10 members? like a band? i got a band KroniK, and there's only 4 members! and we need the tag for making some levels so only KroniK's can get in! i say that you shouldn't delete a guild if there's less than ten members. inactivity, well, maybe... but i think the admin of the guild should be consulted first, like once a month if the guild is inactive or something, so if the guild is active, but isn't active all the time, the admin of the guild can reply to the email, or whatever, and that makes the guild stay up for another month, or until inactivity is shown. i also think if u do this, the guild admin should be given a week to reply, and if they reply after a week, and the guild is deleted, but they have a good reason like, they were on vacation, the guild will be reactivated for them. it may be more work to do this, but i think it's the only fair way to do things... so, i guess i'm asking u to do this! thanx 4 reading this!

I've got an idea, but I want to run it by Stefan first. (Don't want to lose my job)
Anyways, guild deletions will be postponed until I figure out which steps I'll take in the deletions, and make sure that adequate notification is up. |

*copunts all the guilds that have 10 or less members* ' oh kewl 130 guilds with less than 10 people :megaeek: after you dleted them there'll still be like 500 left :( delete the inactive ones too k |
This is the way I plan to go about guild deletions. Give every guild two weeks to atleast log in and update the database. I'll go through all 500+ guilds @_@ and any I don't see updated database and no activity for a time period of 1 month will be deleted. Of course this is going to take place when I think everybody has had due time to get the word and update. If they're deleted and didn't want it deleted, then just put in a request to have it remade. But it'll follow all rules any other request in the queue (atleast 10 supporters, no matching IP's, accounts, etc., etc.)
I believe this is fair enough for everybody and the majority of you have said this is how you prefer it to be handled. As far as guild reviews go, the e-mail recieved upon rejection isn't completely accurate anymore. For you all know that in a weeks time, the queue can fill up to 300+ guilds, so I review, accept, delete guilds weekly instead of monthly. If I did these reviews monthy, it would take a ghastly, long time to go through them. I'm also going to request to have the amount of supporters raised until futher notice as it seems that 10 supporters is a far too easy task nowadays. If you have any questions whatsoever, please feel free to e-mail me at the following address: [email protected] I'm not sure if I am receiving any e-mails sent to [email protected] yet, so e-mail my poizon e-mail until futher notice. If you do e-mail me, make sure it is relevant and your question is accurate and concise. I will not respond to flame e-mails, playerworld guild e-mails, etc. You get my point. One of my biggest mottos is an often heard one and I'm not sure who made the original quote. I've added a little of my own. My Motto: Helping others depends on the willingness of others to be helped. So in turn -- Help me to help you; and in the end, maybe we can all be happy and satisfied. |
