In 30 minutes it will have been 29 hours since stefan said 18 hours, so if it isn't up i'm going to sleep cause this is just getting stupid.

when you first open up half life (CS) go to console at the top and type in:

connect PUT_IP_HERE

it will auto connect you.

Is Counter Strike free, or does it require Half-Life?

Is Counter Strike free? I thought I heard that it was free. Is that right? Or does it require Half-Life?

Well, I really do hope it's up tonight.

The preview was pretty much ready by Christmas, it was just delayed, what could be the setback? I think it's pretty poor business practice to announce the preview on a certain date (and even go so far as to give the exact time!) and then not do as you say.

Half Life is needed, but CS and all these other games are mods of Half life (they are free)

Yes.... What would they have to fix?! Just used the same damned version that they used for Christmas! I dun wanna wait 1+ day(s) just to see maybe 3 more levels! omi it'll probably go up at like 2 AM central time (which is day there?) and no one will be on to play it.
