O.o I thought that was obvious, Pac-Man represents the all consuming entity which takes in as much entertainment and sustenance as possible from whatever source gives it (ie. Users of Graal), and then once there is a possibility to gain more (ie. Graal2002), it must have this as soon as possible and will not accept any logical reasoning as to why it must wait any longer... And all Graalians chase coloured ghosts and attempt to escape from dot filled mazes.

Zulithe 01-02-2002 02:55 AM

I LOVE IT OMG FUNNY!

Hmm...
I bet the game Pacman actually has a deeper message that consumerism will ultimately make the world completely and utterly flat and empty.

Well in that case, Pacman would really be the villain of the game all along and the ghosts are the struggling heroes, battling against the evils of consumerism, embodied in a flat disc that goes "wogga wogga wogga". Their eventual defeat and then Pacman's reproduction in both Mrs. Pacman and Pac Jr. clearly shows that greed strikes all, ignoring age and sex, and that it simply can not be given a full on halt, since it's become a tradition within families to want to have as much as possible. Of course this theory agrees completely with the often said remark "whoever has the most wins". In conclusion, the ghosts are most definitely virtuous beings who stand absolutely no chance of destroying a force far greater than they, so when you play the game, let yourself die, and help fight the destruction of humble, modest folk...

Or maybe I'm just reading into things too much -_-

Nah, you're completely correct.

Oxy-Moron 01-02-2002 03:06 AM

Well in that case Pacman = 1980's Fight Club with less violence and more eating o.o;;

konidias 01-02-2002 03:14 AM

Yeah I woke up and some station was airing the pacman christmas special.. and they would eat the ghosts and the ghost's eyes would float away..

It seems that Pac-Man is really the evil one :eek:

I guess that means the ghosts represent the little good left in the world, and as they try to fight back, the greed overpowers them
