If all of you cared so much about Samurai then you would have left the castle to rot (literally). You would have defended it and upheld it's name in honor. Now the ex-Samurai members who were never on in the first place think it's an outrage just because Emperor Wing is going to do a better job than before :rolleyes:

I got on one day and my samurai tag WAS GONE.
I was meikoo ever since trueheat gave me the tag the day the castle went up!
I WANT SAMURAI BACK!

(and if no one is emperor, i'll gladly become emperor and start samurai over....i got some free time on my hands)

Tyealia, Curon, Sikon, Artareo are the four Kingdoms I remember that have been on or tried to get on 2k1 that have failed.

Since this seems to stress Kamuii out, I'll explain clearly.

The kingdom "Samurai" is not dead. In fact, you can all expect to it to be more "active" than ever.

However, the institution of "Samurai" is dead: Murdered by Kamuii and Wing. their utter disregard of the principles that the kingdom once stood for leaves those of us who once appreciated loyalty, discipline, justice, and honour out alone as the kingdom once known as samurai is replaced by a basic replica of Dustari: complete with selfishness and mediocrity.

So, is it better? Maybe. More active may be better. But, it really breaks my heart, now that I see how rare honour is in the hearts of men, and how meaningless it is in the hearts of those others.

It stresses me out when people don't seem to understand that I did this because I did not want to see Samurai fall apart and die which was what was going to inevitably happen. Don't tell me otherwise because then you'd be lying to yourself.

How is Samurai a copy of Dustari now that I've put a former Emperor back on the throne? It has no Dustari influence whatsoever. None that I see, at any rate...

i agree with you there. i never see anyone from samurai wearing their tags or even trying to recruit. i hope samurai doesn't die and lives up to everyones expectations

A monarchy with a selfish and immature king, that's a good replica of Dustari. Members who want royal titles, that's a good replica of Dustari. If you wanted to "save" Samurai, congratulations, because you saved the population of a GUILD TAG! But if you wanted to kill the samurai spirit we were founded on, congratulations, because you succeeded in that also. Saved us? Tell that to the 5 or so true samurai who discovered today they now have no kingdom behind them. Samurai was the pillar of virtue, the most selective kingdom. So we didn't pick up enough trash to have enough members to satisfy you? Fine. Let the kingdom be inhabited with trash like Dustari. Because the moral makeup of samurai is now the same as Dustari, it doesn't matter what it looks like or what the names are, it is Dustari, plain and true.

Nobody asked the samurai what they wanted, they just whiped it out and started over! In effect, Samurai has been destroyed, and replaced with a new kingdom in the same level of the name "samurai."

I just lost any respect I had for you, Dante. By calling my Kingdom trash, my members trash, six months of long, hard work trash, you have severed ANY friendly ties you might have had with me.

I am not selfish. I may act immature at times, but I am not selfish. Neither is Wing. Wing may be more immature than me, but he is younger than me is well. Would you prefer someone who is in college to have the throne, Dante? The fact that Wing is similar to me in some ways does not make Samurai a replica of Dustari.

Any member of any Kingdom with Royalty wants a Royal Title. It's a fact of life, human greed, and it cannot be denied. Saying that that makes Samurai a replica of Dustari is rubbish.

I want to save the Kingdom Samurai, yes. I could give a damn less about "Samurai Spirit", because, quite frankly, in the past couple weeks, there has been little or NONE that has showed itself. I wanted to give Samurai a chance at rebuilding itself, no matter what the cost, and I have succeeded and I am happy with myself for that. I know that I have made some people happy and brought another chance for a faltering entity.

Yes, it may have been a Kingdom of Virtue, the "Pillar" as you say, a selective Kingdom. But that doesn't mean it is GOOD, Dante. If I had not done what I did, someone, someday, would invade Samurai and your Kingdom of Virtue would be reduced to NOTHING. This way, it has a chance at survival.

There is no "moral makeup" of Samurai, because there are few, if any, new members yet. How can you make such assumptions? The fact that you call my entire Kingdom trash is absolutely preposterous, rude, and, to put it bluntly, stupid.

Samurai and Dustari are nothing alike. Not in name, not in makeup, in no way are they alike, other than the fact that they are Kingdoms.
