Please change the color "brown" for setcharprop #C0, etc. to the brown from head1033 (assuming that head's still up...one of the african-american heads)? Right now I think it's set to the reddish-brown hair color...doesn't work as well.

well, brown is supposed to be brown, not reddish brown, or yellow-brown, or even purplish-brown for that matter. Brown should be brown, as in brown the color of dirt, or brown the crayola crayon color...

But Brown as in Dirt Brown, or head22's Hair Brown, is absolutely useless when you wanna give a "black guy" hands that match his skin tone.

Actually, what they should do is add a real brown and keep the old one as deep red.

Then they could add periwinkle, cornflower, and indian brown!

There's a darkred. Looks almost exactly like Red, though. Maybe make current brown=darkred?

And you can have a brown cape, it wouldn't kill ya...

If we're wishing for new colors though, I'd like a darkcynober...

But there's really no sense in going out to 256 colors for clothing...or using hex codes for clothes colors...that's getting a little too silly.

White, LightGray, Gray, Black, Pink, Red, DarkRed, Brown, Orange, Yellow, LightGreen, Green, DarkGreen, LightBlue, Blue, DarkBlue, Purple, DarkPurple, Transparent...19 colors, so far.

'long as we're wishing:
DarkOrange-a real orange color instead of "flesh", for those who don't really want to be nekkid to be orange...
DarkYellow-The standard Dark Yellow. the current Yellow doesn't have too many uses except as an accent...
DarkGray-The leap between Gray and Black is a little too steep...for people who want to wear black but still have their body's lines visible.

I know there's a dark red but it just looks like "less bright-red" not dark red.

Gr... I know brown is DarkDark red and Darkred is in fact dark red. Leave it at that. I likes Tyhm's previouse idea of light-brown... Id go w/ that.

dark red is red, red is light red, and brown is dark red.

How do we solve this problem? Simple, make brown and call it light red. :)

there is no longer transparent... i dont think. last time i tried scripting it just changed my transparent into black.

Point was it's not a 16-color system if 19 is/was possible.

Even so, regular brown was in the old VGA 16 color packet.
