Death of Samurai
 

Much to my dismay, I discovered today that the kingdom of the Samurai loyal to the throne of the Emperor of Santerrain, which you all know as Samurai, was destroyed.

Samurai represented the kingdom of virtue, loyalty, honour, dedication, and steadfastness. I will openly admit we could never satisfy all the expectations we placed on ourselves. But we never failed to try: and in always attempting to maintain honour, we satisfied the true samurai spirit.

But, sadly, that edifice has fallen. What remains of the kingdom is a boiling concoction of deceit, dishonour, and treachery. As I see what was once the proud logo of our numbers, our most guarded treasure, disgrace us as it covers the proudest and most ignoble of Graalians, I cry for what we stood for, dead.

Dustari aided in its destruction. I can't hold it against the kingdom that they do not appreciate honour. It is only natural that Kamuii desire to do such a thing: After all, it shows Dustari's power and influence, that they can get the RCs to restructure the kingdom.
Nor do I hold it against the admins. Without them, Kingdoms would be utterly static, and how poisonous is still water.

But, Wing did truly disappoint me. He was once a samurai, and knew what we stood for. I was unquestioningly loyal to him as emperor, and defended him when disloyal members turned up, betraying him. I stood by him until he left us.

But I did not know his lust for power was such that he would betray the remaining samurai just to retake the throne that would have been given to him if he had asked for it! He chose to deceive us, and I knew nothing of it before it was long done.

Now I still wish to preserve our principles, but I see how rare the are. The spirit of the samurai is near dead: The value of honour has no place in the heart of Dustari, no place in the heart of most graalians. I will carry loyalty with the few samurai spirits, then, even as our once proud tag disgraces us and our once proud land is poisoned by the influence of the encroaching power of greed, deceit, and selfishness.

*sigh* maybe I can get Karakuchi back.....

Why not rebuild it on 2002?Bring it back anew and show all the other kingdoms Samurai's true power!

i quickly formed up a small band of warriors called Jinshin,
retainers, and we constantly fight to return the throne to its proper owners

No proper owners, since there was no Emperor at the time, Dash.

I do not view Samurai as destroyed. I did not burn, I did not pillage, I did not do anything except for lead a medium sized occupation force to restore Wing Tzu to the Imperial Throne.

I do not see that as destruction...Political interference, yes.

I was with Samurai for a long time, but I myself can not remain loyal due to lack of good quality members

and Ghost Pirate said if I assasinate im than we can reclaim Samurai, well thats fine and dandy but the throne room is a no PK zone

You're not a samurai, Kamuii, you don't understand what I mean when I say Destruction. :o You are as responsible for our destruction as Wing; I only forgive you more of it.

My greatest regret is that I did not arrange to give the shogunate to Dashi. I had planned for it, but was never on at the time of a capable person. :( It could have protected the kingdom. He should still be our shogun.

I need to find some seedy characters on graal to hang out with now :(
