putnpc without the .txt file????
Is it possible to use putnpc to have an NPC be put somewhere with a specific script even if you don't have the script in a .txt file, because since nobody online will have the .txt file on their comp?
Or is there a different command that can do that? |

next yes there is anotherway putnpc2 x,y,{script}; but that only works if its in a npcserver |
Umm...it won't work, it's a hide/unhide thing when the player says open door and close door.

You need the txt file in the folder offline, for online, all it has to be is uploaded onto the server
|
putnpc2 won't work in offline mode if you're testing =P

its worked for me quite a bit but i changed my level and scripting looks to non-p2p so its been a while.BTW, putnpc is really laggy, well can get really laggy!
|
It only has to be uploaded to the server, probably in the levels directory.
For P2P servers, however, there is putnpc2, which is explained elsewhere in this thread. |
