Can't get on graal... error messages included

~AlphaFlame~

Whenever I try going on graal, one of two things happen...

1- The screen stays fixed on one point and my character lags its way offscreen

2- Switching levels will make my character dissapear and kill off my graal.

Here's the error messages I've got:

1- Access violation at address 00402FBC in module "GRAAL.EXE". Read of address 20202020

2- Access violation at address 00402FC0 in module "GRAAL.EXE". Read of address FFFFFFFC

*shrugs* It only happens on non-p2p worlds though..

No one understands them wierd error messages Windows brings up, probably a problem with your OS or other software though not with Graal

2 - Level Loading problem
i experience that myself
my solution is that everyone told me to upgrade windows.....

The level linking problem has to do with Graal,
I have also seen it one time, but when I go
on graal with my debugger version it works.
It could be a problem with a Pointer that is not
set to zero when Graal is started, so Graal
thinks it's a pointer to an object. On most
machines the memory is initialized as zero, but
when you have started other programs before or so
then it can happen that its not zero and the problem
happens. I will try to fix it, it's probably a problem with
the level loading (level is loaded, error happens ->
the level is not set, you are still in the old level,
but your player position is somehow outside the visible
level)

That happens to me ALL THE TIME at Babylon! New Main and Andor work fine... So does UN... Maybe it is because Babylon has no map? Because whenever I press M, nothing happens. Even when I turn on Automapping, pressing M does nothing.

Oh, and my character goes to another level completely, but is still confined to the current level; I am just invisible.

By the way Zorg, the error message are pointing to the hexidecimal address within the Graal program... Kinda like when you get an HTML error on a webpage and the error message says line: xx, char: xx...

i also found it happened regularly on babylon, so i stopped playing there! :p so yes it could be somthing to do with the map ...

Lots of complaints at cc_eagixstart.graal on Classic. Note also this is the level where the map to CC is set, possible relation.

babylon has been fixed so the map is loaded every time you log on :D
