I'm on my classic account which is not upgraded and now Stefan added ghost mode. If the server is over 200 players I believe you're a ghost. This is total bullshit, when I turn into a human my colors are changed, the sprites don't load, and I'm REALLY REALLY laggy. I heard this is to prevent lag, if you guys (admins) can't keep Classic lag free that isn't our damn fault. I am NOT upgrading my classic account, ghost mode should be removed. This is another pathetic act to get people to pay for this game, I would pay for more accounts IF you could do it by mail and so on. I'm 16 years old, but when you're 13-15 years old it isn't easy to convince your parents to pay for a game with there credit card over the internet. My mom is now refusing to put her cc over the internet again. Maybe if Stefan or Tyhm cleaned out all of the gifs and access files on the server or wahtever classic wouldn't be laggy. Like g2k1, it's all clean and only full of png images. What if you're a BRAND new player to graal and log on as a ghost! Newbies aren't gonna know what the hell is going on, I know I wouldn't keep playing a game if this happened. Stefan take ghost mode off, don't listen to just me...but the 100 people on classic protesting about this. I don't even want to go on! I get lagged down SO bad by ghost mode. Or maybe stefan could allow and npc server to be used there, but with nothing like p2p, just something to store the NPCs because that's what causes lag!!!

That's a good idea :) because I'm sure new players don't want to suffer the lag anymore than us.

I have cable, and I run slow at times. I had to delete most of my NPCs so that I did not lag so much and could move like I actually had the lizard shield. :( (!!!)(!!!)

They should CLEAN classic!! Remove all the gifs that are just sitting there doing NOTHING. Keep it all png images. I have cable as well and because of the lag on classic I'm getting ADSL. Because of the lag on classic I bought 128mb more ram. Around a year and a half ago classic was lag free and I didn't even tweak my comp back then and I was on a 56k. Unless Stefan does something about this classic is only gonna get worse and worse, it hasn't gotten any better recently. CLEAN CLASSIC CLEAN CLASSIC *chants* Stefan just wubs the players that only PAY for this game, not the ones on classic :(

My grandparents have ADSL and around 850MHz, and I have 600, and I see no difference when I am on their computer.

Ghost mode is ***. If they wanna cry about having to pay for dedicated servers, then get rid of the lame **** player worlds.

Ghost mode has a number of purposes:

It's a restriction on ALL servers, not just classic. There is, once it is fully implemented, a limit of 500 users on every server combined.

This will reduce prices of bandwidth and so forth so that Graal can actually survive.

The thing that you die-hard Classic-eers don't realize is that p2p is a necessary evil. Without it, Graal would die. End of story.

I agree that Classic should be cleaned out, but Ghost mode has to stay.

I guess since classic is pay now it is now socially acceptable to play on there. Now you have the quests you've all been begging for all along.

Classic isn't pay..But p2p people get more advantages sadly.

That's to encourage people to want to upgrade, but it seems to be backfiring. It's just pissing people off. I think it is a must, though.

It's all about p2p players, you can't play the game fairly/right if you don't pay. How fair is that? In ghost mode you CANNOT do ANYTHING but walk around. Pretty much it's if you don't pay you can't play for periods of time. :(

Stefan add a npc server for classic! Don't just spend all your time on g2k1 and g2k1 players. Help us classic players for once plz.

I think Stefan should make it so that you could still talk in ghost mode. :|

then try something! Besides the npc server there shouldn't be any difference between g2k1 and classic except hats and all that stuff. I hate how classic is so laggy, I beg of you to fix it or something. :(

Maybe in your spare time you could program a classic NPC server, that only holds the NPCs, images, and other stuff that will cut down on lag so that classic is a lot less laggy. Make it so that you can't use the NPC commands that you can on graal2001, no Light effects, either/ganis, too. If not having an upgraded account includes having to use lag, then I see why people complain.

I can't even play Classic. I continuosly get disconnected. Same thing happens when I go into the market on 2k1...I need a new internet service.

The upgrade by phone thing would be good too.

Yea, Stefan do this plz. Give the non paying players something, I hate how classic is so laggy. I'm changing my isp and everything to try and stop the lag.

The way you get more players to pay is to add more features not take them away ;)

I see, overall ghost mode really sucks and is causing problems and is real buggy.
