Hiring LAT, GFX, and NAT
 

I'm Draemus, the current owner of the upcoming playerworld known as Luminar. I realize I posted earlier but there were problems and such. What we're hiring is people for LAT, NAT and the GFX team. Anyone who wishes to try-out for any of those positions should visit the website, post here, or message me. You can also contact me via email. Aspiring LATs will be required to make 4-10 levels that best demonstrate their ability, NATs will need 4-10 scripts, and at least 2 must be a non-weapon script. Apsiring GFX will need to submit 5-10 graphics, at least 4 of which must be smaller, more graal-sized images. Copyrighted images will not be accepted, nor multi-directional ganis or hats. Screenshots will be available shortly. There is a map for one of the two main towns, but no other maps yet.

That sounds good, what's the theme?

4 aliens overtake a world with a population of 94 billion and rape them all. Then the women bare many alien children causing the birth of an entire alien race. Then the player has to slash 94 billion alien-graalian NPCs and after that you get max hearts, lvl 4 everything and RC

But it's not.

The theme is, in a nutshell, something like this:

The two nations of Arnoth and Midgaria are at war, causing havoc throughout the land. The seven sages caused an earthquake long ago that separated the land, causing the nations to be cast out from the rest of the world, onto a large continent, to wage their war privately. However, the villages on the south had, over the decades, forgotten about the two nations, and built a bridge so that they could reach the island. In doing so, they allowed Arnothians and Midgarians to be able to move onto the southern continent to wage their war. However, through the stress of the war, the people fail to notice the evil slowly growing, engulfing the land of Luminar. Unless peace is attained, the evil will destroy everything... As a player, you will become a citizen of either Arnoth or Midgaria, and try to attain peace in lands so that you can stop the evil that is slowly engulfing the land...

That's a sample storyline, though we're re-writing it so that there doesn't seem to be a possible "end" to the storyline...

You used to the word war too much, and um...what "evil"?

Yeah, like I said, it needs some work. I am working on that, but it's hard. Sorta wierd, since I'm a writer, but anyway... I'm working on it.

That wouldn't exactly be the smartest way of going about it. I, myself, am much better with exterior leveling than interior.

Yeah, I meant to change that (Staff Applications page right?) to fit along with what it was changed to. I think I'll go fix that right now...

require 2+ levels. This allows you to see more than once sample of there style but doesnt force them to make something they arent good at like me with snow/lava tiles

It currently requires 4-10 levels (or more if you want) that you feel best represent your ability and what your good at. We will accept less, provided they blow us away. The minimum of 4 is basically to make sure they aren't too lazy, and can keep consistent quality.

Unfortunately, Psyker has an excessive amount of "lazyness" in his system. How sad...

Yeah, I got a bit of that lazyness myself. But little enough that I can still work on stuff. Too bad I waste my time with things like my sig pics...

So... anyone interested? Once we get enough members of each of the teams, we'll elect the Head LAT, Head NAT, and GFX Admin (The ones currently on the staff list are temporary)
