bomy fighting/training/ idea!
 

okay, i understand that koni is scripting bomy fighting? well, why don't we make it where we can play offline as a bomy. you can play a mini-quest or something offline, that is always updated with the graal version, with new quests, and such. you could train the bomy offline (hp, mp, speed, endurance, and other stats) and come online with your bomy and fight other players bomies! this would be too cool. i remember the chocobo mini-quest thingy for ff9, choco.

anyways, there should be special bomy fighting arenas. you could upgrade your bomy and give them the baes stuff (shops would have to be created so you can buy your bomy new stuff. such as items, weapons, and even armor. this is where zalactic labs comes in) and create the strongest bomy on graal! cause lets face it, bomies are boring right now. all you can do is ride them and feed the damn boogers! and look at how much we pay for them.

but theres more! yes, you could wager on your bomy. if you had enough confidence, put up a bet. say, 150g to his 50g. if your bomy owned the other one, you would be 50g richer. if you lost, you'd lose your 100g. this would be the best job! bomy training. reminds you of pokemon? good, cause i like that game! ><

I like the idea about being a bomy offline, but making mini-quests and stuff is just too much. An offline training course for bomy's would be ideal, however, because it is difficult to control a bomy and we need to learn all their stuff.

Bomy fighting arenas.. hmm.. that would be just a normal fighting arena?

Ehh right now the bomy pets gain stats by fighting other pets.. I like this way because you have to fight strong pets to get more stats. I have formulas for the battling worked out already.

Gaining stats offline seems a little silly since the stats should raise because of winning battles, not getting through offline quests.

I don't want to release too much info but let me just say that when this new version is finished.. players with bomy pets will have something else to do other then buy and sell hats and houses ;) I know all this market stuff and buying/selling is getting boring, so this should be fun since it doesn't require money (although you can buy items for it to use during battle so a bit of money can be used but is not needed)

I will tell you one thing though.. bomies will have attacks based on their type (type being a naifets or similar would have a special attack compared to a nero) But some will share attacks with other types (since some types only have like one or two different styles making it silly to have a special attack for one single bomy on the game :D

Once I get the battling completed then I will announce some of the stuff. I think of bomy pets and battling like something you can do on the side, or do full time while on graal. Since quests are basically one time things, and the only other thing to do is play events, work, or buy/sell things. This will give players something to do. :cool:

Oh-oh-oh! I love that idea! Play in an offline world as your bomy pet, whenever you sign on, your bomy stats are updated to what they are offline!

A big problem with the offline thing is.. wouldn't people be able to cheat and edit their offline stats, so that when they get online they get outrageous stat experience?

If you have played pso,you will realize that offline playing ruins EVERYTHING. By going offline,you can make any stat you want,and it cannot be detected by the server. Making it offline will simply ruin it. DO NOT for the love of god make it offline. Thank you.
