I never understood why they stopped making graal 3d.. Why did that?! That would have kicked ass!

i dun think it would have been very good, it would be too hard to make your own levels and graphics and things like that. graal should stay 2d

Look at games like Quake and whatnot, there are plenty of talented gamers out there with skill enough to create for 3D games. It would be a real switch but in the end I believe it would be more popular ^_^

Because Graal3d was really the walking-and-jumping test Stefan threw together to test out his new 3d card?

The Graal3D you all saw was really just the same Bomberman 3D test Stefan made back in '97, but using a Graal character model.

After NewWorld is complete, development of G3D will continue.

How much longer until New World?

Also, can someone tell me if it's also going to be P2P or not?

I think someone used a free ISP to do those votes for Graal Helper.

To get the topic of NW:
It's planned release date is/was in the fall of 2001 I think.

My only hopes for NW is that they have a better guild system (so we don't have 500 guilds with the same purpose: to kick ass), better selection methods of admins, and a better level submission system (If it weren't for the customization, I'd be playing somefink else right now). Then I'd sign up for it. I don't want some linear Zelda-like environment with better gameplay than ZO but still with the same goal and concept as the Zelda games except with 200 more people trying to do the same thing as you are. (Unless you're a total Newbie, then it only gets worse)

Too bad NW is going to be P2P :-( Im not paying for 2 games.

The orignal idea of NewWorld was making it only changable by the staff themselves which means no playerhouses and stuff, hence the "Taking Graal to the professional level" they have on their website, although I think that that part of it spoils part of the orignal concept of Graal namely the fact that you can get your own house/levels/quests online.

I hope that the people who have a upgraded account will be able to play on NW too.
