Scripting..
Alright, most of these have probably been mentioned before, I don't know, I don't normally hang around the Furture Improvements forum..And, as I've yet to see the new version, I'm not sure if any of these are in there either, but anyways, this is everything I would love to have:
-Arrays of strings: Alright, I don't need these...But it sure would be nice.. -setimgrotate: Hehe, this one would be loads of fun -replacecolor: Same as setimgrotate, plus, it would save alot of trouble -players[index].customvars: This is what I want more than anything else, I would love to have this, I would kill for it (but just make sure that they get saved when a player logs off and comes back on again) -showgani: Wouldn't really use this that much, but I'm sure other people would, and it'd be a nice feature.. Hmm..Thats about it...If I think of some more, I'll post em |
There are string arrays in the new version.
For saving personal data that is visible on client side use the #P1-5 variables |
String arrays? =o!! Goody Goody. ill use those CONSTANTLY

Oh, and I thought of some other stuff...the #C message codes..It'd be sweet if they were an array instead of individual message codes...And I had something else too, but I forgot it... |
I think Stefan should make more #P variables
|
The thing with that is that it needs tob e sent to the server. the more of the #P things you have. hte more data must be sent to the server to be sent to each client. thus increasing the lag. Atleast that how I interperate how it works. could be different.

I'll settle for players[index].customvar... that would be helpful as heck for custom HP systems and the such. Perhaps we should get an option in serveroptions.txt to turn off the normal heart system? Another useful script command: playerzoom... like changeimgzoom, except for the player... would be helpful for overworlds ^_^! |
