If you cant open graal levels by double clicking then you need to set it up so that you can because you cant generate a map any other way |

thanks for the help
=D |
when i use Graal Map Maker I cant find the bigmap.txt
where does it export to? |
put the map text file with the levels file
open graal, press f4, get into the editor and open a level that sets the map txt (setmap in an npc) and just press M |
Once made you'll have to convert your map image to an 8-bit .png file as well, Graal can't handle any images with a higher amount then 256 colours.

there is another way.... , name the .txt file tutorialmap.txt and then put it in the tutorial folder. open tutorial mode on graal and make sure all your levels are in the level folder , hit f4 and then hit m. Accept to make map and after it goes through all the levels it asks you to save it somewhere :) i have found this the most effective way

Guys, I know about the map making part, but what are you talking abut with the bigmap.txt, ho would i get my leves into that 0.o Its the only confusing thing about that whold process.
Also, do you know where I can get a image converter... I only have Print Master Gold, Idraw, and that shitty Paint Program... |
Step One - Put all levels in one folder
Step Two - Make a txt file and name it bigmap.txt Step Three - Delete all existing bigmap.txt (so that Graal doesn't use the wrong one) Step Four - Type in the txt file, all of the level names like this: "world_aa-01.graal","world_ab-01.graal","world_ac-01.graal","world_ad-01.graal","world_ae-01.graal" "world_aa-02.graal","world_ab-02.graal","world_ac-02.graal","world_ad-02.graal","world_ae-02.graal" "world_aa-03.graal","world_ab-03.graal","world_ac-03.graal","world_ad-03.graal","world_ae-03.graal" (Each line is one row on the map) Step Five - Save the txt file in the same folder as the levels Step Six - Double click one of the levels from the folder it's in. Don't open Graal through Training mode, it will use tutorialmap.txt instead of bigmap.txt Step Seven - Press M Step Eight - Change the image from 16 bit to 8 bit colors. |
wow.
