Same old puzzles
Who else is getting sick of these quests that involve a boring puzzle in which to coplete it, you're not allowed to step on the 'bad' tiles with off tiling. And the combat bosses where you have to wade through a seeminly endless horde of baddies?
OMG you suck, those quests are wicked! THey should add more! LoL also, why play zelda - style online, when you can buy or rent the damn game for gameboy/n64/gamecube!
Most of those are only on N-Pulse, where you have to walk on the small strip carrying a pot to the end. It makes me mad. Classic and new main have a very good variety of quests
well classic and newmain are a bit short on the puzzle department... and nobody forget the fact that the zelda puzzles revolve around Links endless assortment of weapons... of which we have but don't let on the game...
ARG! The quests are fun. And I play graal to PK and talk. Because the quests got old and are to easy. And I think a lot of people feel that way too.
A lot of the Classic puzzles are weapon-dependant. Stake puzzles, etc. Unfortunately, in an online gaming situation like this, people are prone to shout "HEY THIS SWITCH IS TOO FAR AWAY I CAN'T HIT IT!" than try and use their Bird (Boomerang) to hit it by running in one direction after throwing it...anyway....

Shouldn't this thread be in Future Inprovments?

*snorts* oh goody I might just get to use fireball and bombs once in awhile... cmon thym u hit it on the head with the bird idea... thats the sorta stuff I want in the game... =D
Actually, I've started on a Zelda style dungeons...i'm considering if I should directly copy this idea though. It was first in the SNES Zelda. Where when you hit the crystal ball then the blue bricks go up and the red bricks go down, and vica-versa. Mabye I should be more original though.
And, yes a lot of the Zelda games' puzzles rely heavily on new equipment. |

Also, I really dislike the quests which involve carrying an item to a certain point. Mabye it was an okay idea at first, but now almost every PW has it on there some where. Most of the time it doesn't make sense either. By carrying a pot to a man surrounded by water he can magically transport you to a treasure. Does he need to pot to sail back accross the maze?
I allready did that! www.juron.8m.com GEEZ man your a few CENTURIES late
Qwert were talking about actual PUZZLES involving weaons... have u PLAYED Zelda? try the switch shot mazes in the new Zelda(actually I've played enough Zelda before that the gb games were a snap although they present more challenge than teh N64 games thats fer sure)

I don't mean hit switch open door. I'm talking about the switch that causes the red to go up and the blue to go down. Then you can only walk on the red. However, if you jump on the red from a higher platform then you can walk on the red ones. I have played most of the current an older Zelda's though. I'm trying not to do a complete and total copy of some of the more current ones, and mabye it would be best if a weapon didn't have to be given at each and every castle. |
I did that switch thing a long time ago... hehe goto the god dang site man
