Divided Kingdoms has some of the best Admins around (Jinx, FSU, Me, and Shard IceFire) There is just one problem with this. I'm the one stuck doing all the levels because the other admins are busy with projects of our own. I will personally NEVER give FTP to anyone who hasn't had the approval of the owner. I will NEVER hire anyone unless they show me some kind of skill, When I get on if ever I most likely am doing important things. I do not have the time to answer 50 PMs about "can I be FAQ Chief cause I was been the FAQ Cadet ass kissers for (shitty servername here) and I dunno what FAQ does and this is my R first time on your PW" I will NEVER make an RC unless told to by a person who can verify that they are staff. I was the first one to put a whole 5 levels on the server after it was deleted (IcePick) and now there are 7 levels on the server. There would probably be more if I didn't all of the sudden start getting some error on Graal which says "Rich Edit line insertion" I have no clue what this means and since Stefan does not answer questions, I probably will have to quit my job. This is because of our FTP problem which Stefan refuses to change our password. Our Idiot Staff problem because we have about 20 RCs 2 of which are on at least once a day. I have constant computer problems. No one wants to do anything because of sheer laziness. The PW started with a storyline and now, all of the sudden doesn't have one. There is one MAJOR problem on Divided Kingdoms, the lazy staff do nothing therefore driving away our 5 regular players, Stefan's refusal to make us free and change our FTP password. The PW would get a lot more done if we didn't have to handle being asked "CAN I BE STAFF" whenever we got on to do work. I am really sick of all these problems and am on the verge of quitting.
I just needed to get these things off my chest so if you're gonna flame me please don't bother, I will just delete the thread.

STEP 1: GET COOL ADMINS
STEP 2: GET A GOOD HEAD LAT
STEP 3: DO NOT GIVE NPC ADMINS FTP
STEP 4: GET A GOOD NPC ADMIN

AND STUFF

1. WE DO HAVE COOL ADMINS (Sisok, Jinx)
2. WE DO HAVE A GOOD HEAD LAT
3. I DID NOT GIVE ICE PICK FTP, THE OWNER DID
4. IF THERE WERE ANYONE GOOD AT NPC ADMIN WHO DIDN'T WANT REPAID WITH LEVEL 4 RC AND FTP I WOULD HIRE HIM

Fine, I'll answer using at least some of my brain :rolleyes:

1) No matter what Ice Pick does, he will get away with everything. We knew this especially back in June/July when he was at the peak of stealing levels from other servers and GFX etc. Even if he deleted Graal, Stefan wouldn't care, he would get away with it. Stefan has never commented on Ice Pick and he never will

2) Your server was really fun to start out with, but all we can do now is fish and read books. If you ask me, there will be no roleplaying server on Graal that will work. You can't role-play when there are only about 5-10 people on. I even find it difficult to do so on Providence, the most populated p2p server other than new main. The only true chance I see is Yoshi's PW Doragen Koden, I have heard nothing but good things from it

3) If the staff is so good why are you already having FTP problems? Obviously, a great staff would be able to co-ordinate their work effectively and efficiently, distribute the workload and make regular updates. A fun to workj with staff maybe, a well organized staff (if your having so many problems as you claim you are) that you do not have

because icepick did this i demand Delteria to be kicked off the server list!!!!

You don't even have a lot of experience with PW Administration and you say you are the "one of the best"? =\

Think about Faheria for the RP Part.

Nothing will happen. There was a point months ago when Stefan gave Delteria 72 hours to remove all copyrighted stuff. It didn't happen, they didn't remove anything, yet, Delteria is still online.

Hmm.. it's too far down the road. When I think of Faheria for role-playing I think more of new main and it's closer to that. But, time will tell

I believe Stefan has never even mentioned Ice Pick's name, but he has mentiond Delteria once. He probably only said that (the 72 hour deal) because there was such a large outcry

It' hard not too. You guys have really outstanding jobs and graphics and such. I don't know... it just... has that characteristic. It just doesn't feel like roleplaying, that's all. But hey, my opinion can always change

Since I know very little about how exactly Faheria will be, I guess you're right about a few things.. but i'm certain it'll be a good place to RP =)

(and TB3 made an "anti-IcePick system" so we won't have problemes with him like other servers did =P lmao =P)

Hey, drop a line for TB3 and tell him that kingdoms should have the power to take over lands and lose them in battle. That is what everyone is pushing for on new main and I doubt it will happen. I can GAURANTEE you that will bring your numbers up a lot. People will fight for resources and farming lands, rivers for their navies etc

Well.. as I said, i don't know how it'll be.. =\ but I'll tell him what you said.

Something I also hope he adds is a Party System (like in Diablo 2) so that there is no "friendly fire". Not sure if it could have shared XP and Money since that would be hard as hell to make -_-

Anyways, just some thought, thanks for the idea :)

Faheria isn't having Kingdoms. And the difference from 2001 and Faheria is 2001 TRIES to RP. Faheria has awesome levels, great NPCs, and the best gfx. 2001 is not for RPing. It is hard to have a non-RP server and a RP-server like in both.

I've been a graalian for 1 1/2 years, I've been a Graal Help, an LAT (on Lostworld) and GP Chief (Lostworld) and will do almost anything for Divided Kingdoms.

The thing is that you need experience in administration, not some simple useless GP jobs! And the TDK team has already gained experience from what happened with IcePick and stuff. Mistakes happens, but in no way can you call your team "one of the best" =P

I hope things turn out better for you, from now and on it can only get better. :)
