idea guy!
me and Alkaren (<3) were talking on an AIM chat and we were talking about how Graal2001 needs something big to happen to newmain.
I thought of this... On a specific sylvester, the Graal sun eclipses the two suns, which causes a shadow to be on bombaria the suns light reflects on the moon, making all areas around Bombaria to become devastated. Everything burns down. Alkaren pointed out that the humans and bomys would not be able to survive and must evolve, we learn magic and eventually, we dispose of all these technological devices, and start rebuilding Graal. |
Oh my friend, if it were only that simple. I wish it would happen like that

<3 :)
Graal has gotten... "too advanced" you could say. Go-karts is just a little too much. Graal is supposed to be set in the past.. like the 1600s, I guess. We have armour, and swords, and guns. Go-karts are modern day, and a large leap technologicly (sp). This way though, magic could be brought into the action now (like people have wanted) and this would give a fresh new start to Graal. Who knows what could come of it, but I think it would be good. :) |

Or you humans can aid my demonic work and help rebuild the Realm/Hell Gate and release demonic minions of the underworld to elimiate Graal as we know it and turn Graal into a hell bent world >=) |
Suggest it to Stefan. Make a petition or something. I personally love the idea.
The problem is that 2001 isn't exactly RP-oriented, so some other players(most) wouldn't be happy. Maybe bug him to re-make the Kingdom lands idea? |
It would be nice to have something ground breaking in G2K1. We of course would implement role playing into this. The only area not affected would probably be the UGL.

The walls would collapse and the ceiling would cave in, exposing it to sunlight. :) |

And before all of this happens, we could coincidentally build a library with all of the information of Graal(RP-wise). Of course, for the future explorers. ;)! |
Non-RPers would like the idea (I think) especially the PKers ;D, you could maybe buy spells or something
|
Oh no. The poor fishes will die...or horribly mutate...and take over. Yeah, the UGL lake would be buried and re discovered in the future...

Personally, I think it's ridiculously over dramatic, and Graal is obviously not set in the past or any time frame, Zalactic Labs was part of the original vision for Graal2001, and this is simply silly.
Yup, I'm the Graal2001 reactionary. |

I demand to be able to have angelic magic though ;) |

and remember that we now have stuff (of the future!) haha I remember that |
It would be kind of irritating to destroy everything...and then rebuild it...again. It would kinf of be like reseting everything
|
I didn't find it that exciting, although I did find it exciting when I was in the Graal2001 tour's screenshot of Milia opening up.

How many people do you see walking around outside with armor, and carrying a sword. Swearing to alligence to a king or emperor. How many people are a knight, or a samurai. Oh I know1 I'll be Sir Rede Whitmore the Go-Kart Knight of Justice! |
We don't wear armour, although there is one body that is similar to yoroi it also looks like a woman's body, and, either way, almost nobody wears it.
Also, although we use swords the first thing to do on the server involved shooting "nukes." I don't think there's any question that Graal does not fit into a time frame. |

I wish it was in one set time-frame though. That is what I am getting at. |
Don't forget futuristic Gundem mechies, pulse rifles, and pimp hats
