if you have some graphical errors when you play graal that causes lag or you just wanna get rid of the errors you should check to make sure you have DirectX8 properly installed this heavily helps the problem as it does on my old computer ... and on this comp. i got voo-doo/2 stuff and it works great ... i suggest you get the DirectX8.0 and all its drivers for free at www.microsoft.com.

I have DX8, still can't see lighting effects. Instead, I see a big black circle where they should be

Me 2! But only online and its almost all black screen
