why would anyone with power abuse? i used to cheat, but all it does is take all the fun out of whatever you are playing

I don't know why they would want to put their job and popularity at risk. But... I don't know that much about it.

People abuse their powers because they can't handle their powers.
Or, because they want to help their friends.
Or, because they're just plain stupid.

This is true. It's also because it's kind of a fun thing to do at first. I wouldn't know. :P

My best guess is that they don't actually see it as corrupt- sort of like the employee who steals "little things" around the office. In that light, I can understand it better.
