Mithica's freedom? Stefan, please comment.
 

From what I've heard, (Gladiator has mentioned it, as well as a few others) Mithica may be going free at the next Graal update. Thing is, I'm not sure if this has any truth to it, or if it's a completely fictional wish. If Stefan or anyone else with any level of credibility would be willing to give me some feedback here, I would appreciate it.

Stop making these Mithica threads all the time.

No one else may give a damn, but I do. I was kind of hoping (and still am) that Stefan will take notice of it and let me know what's really going on.

Mithica, the most dead p2p server, will probably not go free. That's highly unlikely

I recall doing quite well before p2p came into the picture and it is my hope that we shall someday achieve that again.

yeah, well....I think all the flaming of mithica should be on it's own thread so maybe stefan will actually take into consideration what we are trying to get across to him....
Stefan, if you are reading this post please just hit reply and give us feedback/status on mithica being free or whatever your plans are...
If you are not going to set us to free please at least tell us so we can start working on all our npcs to *hopefully* work with the npc server and it's limitations....
So save us all the agony of waiting alone in the dark and tell us what is up.

OK..........Why does Stefan ignore ALL of these Mithica threads....there has to be liek what...15 at least? and he only replyed one 1 so far.......crap........i think you should let the public know if Mithica is going non-p2p Stefan...

Keep in mind that Stefan is a busy man. But I do hope he'll post again sometimes soon and give us a definitive answer. I know I'd appreciate it. ^^

i have e-mail profe that he said Mithica will be free in the days to come, exactly when the new version is out...

What is it with all these P2P servers?? They ALL want to go free, but it's not gonna happen!! Stefan is enforcing that he wants more P2P servers, and less free ones, and now you really think that he's gonna let more go free? I think not.

read one of the other 33 billoin threads on mithica, stefan said in-experanced servers that are p2p should go non-p2p becuse they don't know how to use npcserver...

I would like Divided Kingdoms to go to non-p2p because I am having a hell of a lot of problems with the scripts...We had about 30 main (like really really important) scripts and I'd say oh 10 of them even half work...
If someone would help me figure all this crap out I would let Divided Kingdoms stay p2p.

To begin with, I'd like to say that Stefan does not WANT all the servers to go p2p (note, he might, this is just a theory), he wants money. It costs cash and time to run something like this and who would do it if it wasn't worth their while? All that to say this, Mithica is not drawing in money. New p2p players want to play on G2K1 because it has the most to offer them. If you notice, very few new players have p2p accounts, it mostly oldbies who have finally decided to see what all the hubbub was about. To become oldbies, players first must spend their time on other playerworlds learning the ropes. Therefore, free playerworlds still have their place in Graal, and I think that Mithica II will really be a good one.
