I think I can explain the recent hacker attacks.

Well, Hawk has been complaining that SOMEONE has hacked into the FTP for the guilds, right? Well, there's piece #1.

Next, someone reported that they saw logs of someone adding a "Hacking Tool" to a person named "Hacker". Piece #2.

So what does this mean?

Simple. The hacker hacked into the guild FTP, found out about a GP account, created a new tool that allows him to hack WITHOUT a trainer (An NPCW), and now is "hacking" Newmain and Oldmain with a "Hacking Tool".

If it's an NPCw then it's easily detected.

It is not a NPCw, I know because I have looked at the people's accounts after it has said
"accountname has added a weapon (hacker?)" and there were no unusual weapons in their inventory.

Umm, I have seen the new hacking program in action, and everytime you see

"(Account) Has added a weapon (Hacker?)"
jail them. Everytime I jail the people they admit to using it, and say
"I R DIDN"T KNOW IT WUZ GONA WURK"

I could auto-disconnect the player
so he can't use it (its not saved in
the account anyway)
