ok...screw finding it...how would i go about doing this script?? its got to be non-p2p...i want to script it so that when the player first enters the server they pick what time zone they are in and hte times start off differently.....i have a list of the time zones but if i could script just one to start off with then it would be a sinch to do the rest so could someone help me?
|
timevar is the only thing that will work on non-p2p and you cant edit that
|
hmmmm the time starts whenever the player gets the system npc aight??? well then there would be no need to make time zones..i guess

whats timevar?
|
um, is using server.variablename legal on non-p2p?
|
I have all these version of time crap I got somewhere, but I think they only work online.

So if server.variablename is non-p2p legal, then a free server could create server.time and use that for a customizable timevar, right?
|
=/
you need noc server to do that, npc server stayts on all the time, what you could do is have a person always on the server that acts as an npc server in a sense that it has a timeout that changes the values every how many seconds. then just have the npcs the players have to show the time... or is this illegal?

Thank you, now die. |
Heh omg thats a easy script u dont need to use time var
you could just us timeouts and showimg and a few variables and strings as in if (playerenters)showimg 400,@DigitSmall And so on with dah script i had the lil b atch in mah head ohh and u would have to make it server wide and **** no hard..... |
What the heck! You guys are spaming he wants the script! Not your life! Whats the point in posting if they only spam?

Doing it that way would take longer then using TimeVar. |
it is utterly impossible to make accurate time on any server without timevar.
#1 becouse you need at least one player on the server at all times. that is the best reason. Sure some programming knowledge you could make something that connects to graal and keeps the time flowing. but I doubt that that is legal. People keep telling me timevar is illegal and legal at the same time =/ |
More clock spam
Heh nah it wont take that long man
It's A fariley basic Script for some one who knows a few strings and **** like mah i aint the best scripter but i reckon i can get by ive learnt quite a bit heh damn this is spam!.... lols Mah Graal nick is Chicken Muahhaa And im making a server muhaha |
The only hard part about it is getting the numbers on state.png to show up correctly. :(
|
Um... all this talk of a timevar and u could probobly just make a serverwide string that would leech off of system NPC's and do day/night effects offa that.the main string NPC though, would need to use a timevar to accuratly keep time so THE WHOLE DARN PARAGRAPH I JUST WROTE IS POINTLESS!

hmmm i would like to have that thing that ducky and nil$ made not oo long ago;) ;) ....it acted as a rc that stayed on 24/7...so there is no way to get an extra rc and run it off webspace forever...?
