Guilds
Sorry for all the problems with the guild
system. It's quite outdated and needs to be replaced, that's why we will soon take it down and work on a new thing. If you have ideas, or know good guild systems from other games then post them here. I thought of a in-game guild subscription thing, so no global guilds anymore. When you create a guild you can say what people need to subscribe (like swordpower>=2). Then people can subscribe, if after one week the needed count of people is not reached then the guild will not get official. It could be done in a special game window or so |

Although the other guild must accept the inventation for the alliance before the two guilds become allies. |
Yes the allies thing should be added, also may be stats like
guild 1 killed 10 people from guild2 or so would be nice too. |

humm personally I think there should still be global guilds...

I like the Ultima Online guild system.
You buy a guild stone for money and place it in your house, also guild name can be changed once a week, each member can choose who is he loyal to, the one with most members loyal to him is the guildmaster, also members can add people and they have to wait for the guild master to authorize it. But for Graal I think global guilds are the best. I think the sword idea is bad because guilds that add people if they have good stats (hearts,swords,shields) are always newbie guilds. |

Also add official warring to the guilds then, meaning that once you have declared war you can freely attack all their members without AP loss, and hit people of the enemy guild who have 100 AP with your sword.
Or perhaps make those different things options when declaring a war, some of those options could be:

Why not keep a guild system similar to the current one but code it for another, more efficient database.
Also, recruiters should be able to set a person's nickname for the guild. |

I like what you have now. And I really hate the idea of no global guilds that wouldn't be right. Also, if you do change it any guild made before p2p should not have to go around getting p2p supporters. If you wanna make things really good make it to where you dont need p2p to support/create a guild.

Guild system should work different. heres my idea...
You sign up in a guild in-game. Like another F# window. It lists the guilds that are on the server (maybe the server can exclude some guild from showing up via serveroptions.txt) And it will list the requirements needed to join. If you want to join that guild you are put into request. The Leader of that guild then either accepts you or declines you via that same window. Guild leader can set allies an enimies through the window as well. In the Game, If you are a member of a guild your fellow memebers names are outlined in Green. Your allies are outlined in Orange and your enimies names are outlined in Red. The guild leader can set the tags on and off. That means that you can have any name you want and it just sticks the tag on it. If the tags are disabled you wil not where a tag but your fellow guildmemebers allies and enimies are still outlined in the color. You can opt to remove your self from a guild at any time. |

I am loving these idea's.
A lot of times guild members have more than one account. you should be able to add multiple accounts of the same person under one guild account or something. so it won't effect the guild member list.... =/ aw well maybe that isn't the best idea. It's all good haha. would all be a big improvement. |

Yes Falados has a good idea, just make sure that people who do not belong to a guild don't have any outline at all, and all those members of a guild who have a neutral or no special diplomatic status have no outline as well

cough or erm how about guilds arent global and the req system but you can pick which server you want to create your guild for from a list then you need 10 supporters who have 100+hours or something on that server.
