Mithica II: Renewal
 

Hello. Here's an update on the Mithica situation. Most of the stuff is done, I am adding more tiles to the overworld. I have added the roads, and things look peachy so far. Xeus and I will be ready in two weeks time, so godspeed to us. We're pulling out all the stops, and so far everything runs like silk. The third class is underway, four quests are completed, and we have 6 unique NPCWeapons total. I hope to add five more NPCWs, four more quests and alot of shops between now and release. Below is a has-and-does-not chart.

Has:
Typical Kerin-church-sealed-crypt quest.
A wonderful quest, if you beat it you can go to hell.
A really annoying grave with a word puzzle
A sadistic game in which you kill people
A towel shop.
Clock town.
Ice Cream Shoppe.
Spar rings.

Has not:
Anything besides Clock Town from OldMithica.
That forest quest Mikau ought to finish sometime.
Bomys. (Duh.)
Ninjas.

The attached file is the official Mithica II "thingy." I added alot of stuff to the map since I made that image, though.

hey could you like make the map not broken tiles so its easier to see

you'll need more quests.. and more stuff to do (games.. but not child games like the ones on G2K1, maybe.. sword fighting.. weapon training.. Jousting would be nice! :D)

oh crap i just gave myself ideas for Faheria.. anywayz Kerin, good luck with New Mithica and well.. add more stuff then what you had planned! =P

Hehe, Mithica's always been able to pull tricks out of the hat. This is no exception!

I've already tried to save it once and the old owner (Gabiani) betrayed me after getting Kerin fired :(

Kerin's back anyways, my months of work to try to save it gave this result:

I'm glad it's no longer corrupt =P

Good luck with new mithica, i hope it goes well, every server deserves a chance.

Non-p2p servers that go p2p will never succeed. No much scripts to fix, nothing will work and they won't be good enough. :(

the only thing i really want from p2p are light effects.

but then again, 3/5 of the graal population can't view them, so it's not really that useful.

i cant wait till New Mithica goes up it is guna rule, GP there and right now its boring....= / i cant wait till more ppl come on!!...= )

Well, as you see stuff is happening, and as far as NPC server goes, I think we are trying to hold launch til -{("Stefan")}- gets his butt over and makes it free. So if you talk to Stefan much please ask him to hurry with it, and Stefan, if you read this post then why are you still reading this? Go set it to free.

Mithica won't have bomy-bopots, but it will have fikko-(put stupid second name startig with "f" here, 'fikko-fishpots' being an example) s. I already added speed boots, and I suppose I will make a bowling alley.

He was kidding guy, you know about Bravo and the bowling alley, right?

oh well, bowling sawks anyway. I guess I'll have to make something else >=)

You need bolling allies and Bomies to be l33t. You also need RC shoes and currupted staff and also some shadordragons npcs..
500 empty grass levels put +points on your playerworld's popularity. Stolen ideas and scripts is also a plus. hmm what else is a playerworld essencial... AH! NEW before your name is REALLY important. Newbies are attracted to NEW things.

Clicking on Smokey the Bear will brighten up your day with impratant messages that will affect your life perminantly.

OK, I will keep that in mind :D
