No, it's not. It causes slow down on the entire board and is insanely obnoxious. I don't enjoy waiting several minutes for a thread to load so I can see some *****'s graphic. There really needs to be some signature restrictions on these boards.

Signature restrictions would just get annoying for some people.:(

What connection do you have? I have 56k and the pages load in like 2 secs even with long picture sigs.

I have 56k. And the page itself loads, it just slows down the computer while it loads several hundred jpegs.

And I'm not talking any radical size restrictions. A few pictures per sig, not to exceed so many pixels, et cetera. It's out of hand.
