New Playerworlds

Just to get an idea of how many are out there, please post the name of your pw, how many levels it has, what events and jobs and stuff there are, what to do for fun, screenshots, and maps.

Hmm...

Name: Middle Earth
Levels: About 300.
Jobs: Not too much on that because it's an RPGish/Adventure project, but besides that, there is mushroom collecting. I haven't really thought of other stuff yet.
Misc: You will find stuff to do a long the way, you have to beat the 'mini-game' in order to keep going on the journey.
Once you have beaten it, there will be certain points on the game: where you can switch characters, that have different NPCs/weapons that you will need to get past certain points, play previous mini-games that you have beaten, learn songs to go to certain towns or villages that you have visited before on different continents, you will be able to warp to other 'points (havent thought of a good name yet)' located in the game since you'll have to visit/talk to different people and collect things (sort of like a scavenger hunt, etc).
Like I stated before, you will persuade some people to join your 'party' like, giving them a certain item, befriending them, knowing a certain person, etc. That will make your quests a lot easier if you have certain people in your party, otherwise you will either have to find the item, trade it, buy it, etc.
Quests Part 1:
There will be side quests to get a nice item, meet a certain person or something that will be very valuable in trading or selling.

Quests Part 2:
Normal quests will be required to continue your journey, don't worry, you won't go empty handed on most quests that are required. I still need some more ideas on this, I'll think of some more later.

That's all I'll tell you now, I need to get back to work. :)

Thanks, I have more ideas, but I'm not sure if I'll actually be able to script the NPCs for them.

I'm pretty much like G_Yoshi, a one man team. I can do pretty much everything, though I lack talent in GScript, it takes me a long time to make complicated scripts.

ohh ok, its just easier with a little help =D

Hey, is this name from the tolken books?

zell12 10-08-2001 05:52 AM

Hmm... i own System-ex along with the other owner flames...

But im not relesing nething about it due to the fact that everyone out
here is making playerworlds and im not letting someone else take credit for the ideas or what i made already...

We have alot of levels, around 903, and only 21 of them aren't filled in with something so far
we have tons of events, and a new daynight/weather system...

we were sopposed to have it tested long ago, but vincent quit while testing it, and after that, the other owner moved, so were out of luck for a while
