Delete all gifs from Graal?????
As all the player world owners I am sure you recieved this:
While playing on other servers, I've noticed that most of them are still using gifs instead of png and mng images, I'm giving the server owners until the end of October to change this, because I will be deleting most of the un-needed gifs on this date (heads, swords, and shields mainly). I've also noticed, by playing on each server that most Player Worlds are still using the old baddies (from Zelda 3). This is something that also needs to be changed, if you don't change this in future, your server may be at risk of being shut down until you do. I'll also be posting this same message at the Graal Online news, and be checking each Player World once a week. Honds from the Classic LAT is about to release a few of his programs. a gif to PNG assimilator. It will be helpful.
He's also about to release Graal Guild Manager version 3, which will make it even easier to manage guilds for playerworlds. As well as the Graal Script Editor, which should explain itself. =) |

Yes the assimilator program should be released before
playerworld owners can really start to convert stuff, its too much work to change commands from gif to png/mng. I think this mainly means when you use npcs that have gifs as heads or swords or shields then you will need to use the png/mng version of it, all those images are already converted so there shouldn't be a problem (ok ok on one of the computers the shields and swords are not comverted yet :eek: ) But other stuff don't need to be replaced immediatelly but might be considered for the future. I will also need to change the Graal.exe and main Graal packages to use png/mng :D Don't know what is meant with the baddies though, there are not z3 baddies in the game |

I think that is dumb if all we can use is pngs...
because I have noticed in some small images that gifs are accaully smaller then pngs... but otherwise I use pngs.... |

Normally PNGs are always smaller,
only animated gifs can be smaller than mngs because my gif2mng program and Graal don't undertstand the possible mng optimizations yet |
get irfan view it can covert a lot of images into 8bit and such but not sure if has mng, i know it has png
will graal ever allow jpg? |
