Okay, I think this has gone too far. As you can see, the economy is WAY out of balance. Newbies literally can't do anything until an event which doesn't cost money but does give money comes up which they must win. Very unlikely.

Even for the humans with money, fishing and mining practically give you arthritis.

How to stop this and balance out the cash flow?
- Graalian Bank, loans, deposits, interest
- Fishing and bird catching profits increased
- Less events, more quests for treasure and items
- Lower that selfishness rate :) Loan a newbie some money every once in a while. You don't need all that 1000 gralat.

I think we need to get a petition going or something...

I'd like to be able to loan my money to that nwbie (newbie to graal2001 I mean with that ;)) but I fear that I have only gotten 5 gralats myself, which is quite useless.
However I do have to agree on most of the points in this post ;)

I totally agree, virgil. The economys current state is just sad...We need to be able to make money alot easier. Instead of only giving us a little money, give us more money and more options on how to spend it.

I bet not even half of the gralats on the server were actually earned.

Most of the gralat on the server were "earned" from the fishing glitch and mining glitch.

Ive already achieved what I wanted with my money (Buying a bomy..well my second. First one I sold for almost double for what I bought it for)

If anyone needs any money, Ill be happy to LOAN you some.

It takes a while to get alteast 1000 for me, I usually participate in races and ctf for quick boosts of money. Usually I just hunt birds, which is a long, long process

Sounds a lot like the american economy.

I say the amount of Gralat earned is proportional to the amount of gralat you own. If you have 5000 gralats, a diamond's worth a measly 1 gralat ("Well we already have a lot of those, don't hardly need any more. Not that you need the money, mr. fancy-trousers!"), and if you have no gralats it's worth a lot more ("Wow, a diamond eh? Bet it's your first one. Tell you what kid, I'll give you a special deal on this one....")

That way you can't get 10,000 gralats by getting 10 gralats * 1000 diamonds, or whatever the exchange rate is. It'd be 100 gralat for the first one, then since you have 100 gralats you can only get 50 gralats per diamond...

The thing to watch for is guilds that give all their money to one guy, mine as a peasant, and get their money back...so you'd need to make it track how much you've EARNED rather than how much you've got on hand....I mean, you could ditch it all in your house and get rich hoarding it.

yeah, I bet they could secretly make mining and fishing give rich people less, poor people more, and everything that costs money 3 times as much to anyone with over 500 gralat.

After you get over 500 or so, it doesn't matter anymore.
You see since there are so few things to buy with your gralat who cares.. well everyone does because there isn't anything else to do but get them.

Think about it. Every activity you do is in some way related to winning or obtaining gralats. But what do you spend them on ? Equipment that is for activities to make more gralat.

Uhh... no.

yeah, and what else would you spend it on? a house? wow, so the point of the game is to get gralat for a house..
