Trust me my manga is not going to look in any way like this, its going to be 100 times better.

Sure...And what are you in like 5th grade spanish or something that stuff is easy...

Butz 10-01-2001 09:36 AM

You know Shard...the focus isn't on his Spanish here....
This is an ART and GRAPHICS forum!!!
And being a bit nicer wouldn't hurt either..

eh-hem...back on topic..
I think it looks fine..
Mechanical pencil is usually what I use because that way I don't have to worry if the lead breaks..plus it has a fine tip that doesn't smudge as easily..which is good for drawing small detail...

lol I wasn't insulting his art I was just reading the spanish work that was on the paper...his art is fine. Anyways I like mechanical pencils if I'm doing a light and rough sketch, but if you press to hard it can be near impossible to erase.

I always start out light, and darken it when I'm sure I'm not going to change it again...that's if I'm doing something that I'm taking my time on though...but I don't use normal paper,(I use glossier paper) so it's easier to erase....

Yeah i know the spanish work is really easy mostly due to that its a review though on past years. My problem is that i push down to hard on the pencil which causes it to get really dark and when you try to erase it it smears also the mechniacal pencils you have to sharpen in some difficult way to get a point. There for i uses a 2H pencil which is a hard pencil that can easily sharpend.

I like using a 2B pencil myself. I also have another drawing I did, that I might be able to put up here this time tomorrow. :) It's another skrub bomy, just like the last one.
