Tileset rules.
 
Whats the rules with using others tilesets?

I really wanna use izone/zone tileset for my server..

how do i get the proper permission, id hate to get shut down.

It's not allowed, you need to create your own tiles.

does it matter if it doesn't become hosted or classic? Not to rain on your dev parade chances are it wouldn't and you could just yolo it.

The image I have seen and read is pretty generic. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't come from the image Gallery. If it was a more advanced image that actually took time and effort then it would be worth to remove it. I don't feel its our duty to go around and delete images that really took no effort at all. Its more of a hassle then anything.

Without knowing which tileset they are referring to exactly, what if the thread author obtains permission from a previous owner/developer/artist of Shangri-La to use the tileset that was ported to iZone? Something of a grey area no?

if the tiles are free to use then you can use em, but you can't use tilesets from graal's servers (iclassic, gk, etc) without special permission

only official projects are allowed to steal tiles :fro:
