Leveling
 
I don't log on as often now but I made an attempt for the past 2 weeks to log on. I personally am lazy and don't level my skills but you guys have pretty much destroyed experience and it's a pain in the ass to level again. plz fix.

We can increase it temporarily soon if need be. Ideally, you should be killing somewhere around 100 monsters per level as long as you are fighting things your level or above.

You can check a monster's level by right-clicking it, and most dungeons are labeled now. (Permanent dungeons have signs, and treasure maps have labels.)

The experience has been increased for holiday monsters, and new quests are opening up for various professions as well.

There will be more outlets for gaining experience in the near future as well if you enjoy doing some things other than combat now and then. (Or if you just happen to have enough of some items to burn for some quick exp.)


Edit: Monster experience has been doubled for the moment. See how that works out for you, and give us some feedback.

Makes sense.
What's the point of a pay2win server if you still have to idle for 3 hours in a party to max your desired skill?

Yes. They are available in the NC Shop.

Now walls are nerfed AGAIN so leveling anything haunted house is pretty much useless because killing 1 zombie every 10 seconds with golem isn't going to go over well with the server.

Could always just level from Golem/Kvasir/ Ghost Pirate(if it ever actually spawns) like I did. Just use another skill when someone else kills it.

Ended up deciding to post this again anyway.

There are certain monsters that, being level 15 at this moment, I have no business fighting. However, I feel like monsters are gaining health way too fast. I can't even kill bomies with wound spells without them just negating what I just did.

Mobs have so much HP now, I don't think they're meant to be killed with spells any more. :(
Seems GK is now mostly Melee/bow based.

magic has been neglected at every turn since they released the new magic system years ago. you guys act like before it was any better.

edit: I'm not talking about just spells and leveling but even items - putting magic resist on rodd? lol

I've been leveling with the new West Haunted House mods with lightning walls for the past month. It WAS working until Maroku disabled Lightning Walls, even though he said "It's 100% not the lightning walls that is causing the crashes". Then why disable them. O_O
