Are quests broken?
 

After spending some hours testing, I've only come up with:
3 Doohickey Doors, 4 Whatsits, and 2 Gizmos.

While I may not have tried enough with the Gizmo Covers; I still have not seen one opportunity to obtain any Doohickeys or Master Gears.

"Dreamer under the tree", betraying the book, never had the quest available to me. While I was still able to do some others, I never got the escorts for the Grand-daughters or the Cartographer as of yet.

I've gotten mixed responses to this from some; so I'm unsure of what is going on... Thus why I put this here.

Nope.

Some quests may not be coming up because the quest giver is currently offering some other quest instead. Quest givers can only offer one at a time.

Complete the current quest they are offering, and the quest you need may come up instead. (Though it's not guaranteed.)

I understand that, however.
When I said "testing" that was exactly what I had been doing for those hours.
Seeing repetition in the offered quests; still missing the necessary quests to actually complete one fully and get a gold key.
Not to mention the Hankey for Doohickey trade never being offered.

I can't keep doing the trial and error myself, so if someone could give feedback on quests they've done recently, it'd be appreciated; at least so I know whether or not this is a bug and to give up or not.

There are 3 main pieces I believe. I can't recall what they are but I am thinking there the ones your needing. I think dohickey door, master gear, and artifact. To get these you need to complete "escort" quests. Basically someone who is looking for someone and gives you a general description and you hunt them down and bring them back. It's not actually a trade for item.

Just trade a random Tig item for the like 20GK they are and that's all you really need to max your stats.

It's not the doohickey door that's giving me the problem it is exactly these that I have had no ability to get:
Doohickey
Master Gear
Artifact

Also, Tig items are a new concept for me. I've been gone a while.
