And what are your plans to change that? The staff team can't solely be responsible for how gangs perform each week. This is your server just as much as it is ours.

player count has still been high. so are a lot of people just pkin on the streets and/or idling at unstick me? i remember the player count being high but no one was raiding (before update). someone would have to get it started, and that person was usually wil.

Well Swift resigned. Admins will be appointing a new Gang Admin.

I mean I'd like to see the old Gang System back, LC/BH/BB but that's just me. With the old bases and everyone raiding BH near unstick me 24/7 :D.

Gang bases are easily accessible now more than they ever have been. I don't see how putting BH near unstick would make a difference.

i realized that we have made everything on era really simple. we put the spar complex closer to unstick me because people were too lazy to travel to it when it was on the far side of the map. we made it easier to raid (can literally warp to the active base from unstick me and the hopistal). we made it a lot easier for people to get weapons, and good weapons at that. it's like current WoW. i remember playing WoW when it first came out, and if you played vanilla WoW and then current WoW, then you know how noob friendly it has become.

next we gonna have all food and ammo businesses at unstick me. lol.

Man I remember playing WoW before burning crusade came out, and then I played WoTL it was SOOOO easy to get anything you wanted now.

hell yeah. i remember when battle grounds first came out. i remember before battle grounds even came out, and there would be massive raids at tarren mill and the barrens. the alliance (i played horde mostly) would travel to the barrens in big forces and everything would get crazy. i quit before BC, but then came back and played BC. then quit and tried out that panda expansion. they made everything so easy, especially the talent/skill tree or whatever it is called. they simplified it like crazy. quests hold your hand and show you where to go now. it is a lot easier to make money. they reduced the prices for mounts. i think you can get one at level 20 now (used to be 40 in vanilla WoW and you basically saved up everything you had from level 1 to be able to afford everything), and so on.

Well we have no Gangs admin currently and it's xmas week so you can't expect a ton of people playing.

just go back to having as many gangs as u want with 15 man limits, that's when you saw activity

How are people judging the games activity based on people not being active during Christmas Week? I know some of us have no life and play this week but A Lot of people are away/with family for this week. It's to early to say this system is not working.

gangs are dead stop trying to defend it

Insanity = doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Scrap everything and create an automated survival of the fittest system.

We did, it never even got fully tested for a week before everyone **** themselves.

I've watched this happen time and time again. Era seems to be lacking real direction. Could be related to the high attrition rate of managers.

Also one thing players and developers need to realize is that there's always going to be a J-curve associated with big changes like this. In other words, the implementation of a new gang system will never be immediately better than it's predecessor. There will always be a period where the bugs and kinks of the new system will need to be worked out. Era barely ever gets past this phase because the gang system is changes so frequently.

lol....... the gangs are way to large for the player count and its the same thing since 2004 or before they just all get the OP people who are friends arleady in one gang.

limit gangs to 8 people :P

also dont allow gangs in events since you are giving teaming the advantage for EC = promote OP gangs = promote rigging gangs to win everything.

this game is based on gangs right now and theres no competition so its a funny vicious cycle. the OP gang gets the OP guns and free **** to use against the weak gangs...

now eclypse is complaining cuz hes in a OP gang and theres no one to fight LOL? quit the gang?....... tons of people to fight then who 5 vs 1 you called olympia.

its like saying you are mad at the fish for not showing up cuz you already fished them all out of the pond and ate them for your own pleasure.
