Does it seem bizarre to anyone else that an item that requires 20 iron bars (20*175p or 1/5th Tig) and one gold key (1/6th Tig), has terrible stats, and is a virtually pointless and worthless item to create?

I mean, if it costs a potion of strength to make it, shouldn't it have (Str+1) at the very least? If it takes SOOO much iron to make it and is so heavy, shouldn't it get an (ac+1) or something?

What exactly about these gloves invokes the namesake "of the Titans"?

The only real use for these gloves that I remember were greater stats buffs. The lower your base stats are, the stronger a temporary stat buff becomes. But no one goes through the trouble of wearing negative gear/casting base stat buffs anymore. Too much hassle for something that wears off shortly after.

Ah, I skipped right over the quote listing the gloves stats. Odd, because that's not the stats I remember them having.

I assume the gloves have been identified..?

Yeah sorry xd, I mistook those gauntlets for another glove.

Armor +13 is pretty awful. I agree, an STR on there wouldn't be the end of the world. Could be a nice entry-level glove.

Maybe gloves of bladed steel could get dmg 5 speed 1 or something as an alternative.

They weigh 45 kg and unless that is fixed it should definitely have some sort of positive to outweigh that negative.

Would like to see admin input on the purpose of these gloves having such a high crafting cost. Also any input on general alchemy fixes. Is anything being done about this?

Main issue with this recipe is that its original crossfire recipe is simpler. It requires Gauntlets, a hill giant heart, and a bottle of philosophical oil.

A lot of recipes had to be changed when converted to Graal.
