Era Radio

Hey everyone!

So yeah this post is about era radio of course....basically I feel the one station that plays has been playing the same music for a while. Problem is the owner of ER hasn't been on in like forever! Perhaps a show of hands for who would like to see more stations and like a spread of stuff like maybe some dubstep, or like led zeppelin/pink Floyd etc....just some variety that we can pk too. So show of hands for who is tired of current radio and say what you would like to hear! :)

Who owns Era Radio?

Peacecraft owns the current station.

There used to be multiple radio stations, I think I was the reason one of them got deleted when I played punch em' in the d*ck and I was the Owner of the place.

The radio is glitchy as is. the whole system has to be reworked for it to be functional again. Requires songs to have a link to reference and such, meaning if you wanted to dj you would have to upload your songs somewhere and then type in the link.

What many people have done (well, what me and biz did) is host a live stream of their music and basically just used any sort of music on their computer to easily play instantly without the hassle of having to upload them. At one point we had multiple people sharing the live stream so we could all take turns in playing what's next and used voice for contests and what not.

So, it all really depends on you. If you want to put in the extra effort (not that hard to be honest) to create a live stream then the whole thing will just be straightforward with no gaps in between.

There's plenty of websites out there that have already song uploaded where you can just paste the link and it works. That was how we used to do it in the old days when there was like 5 competing radio businesses. lol

The glitchy part of the radio is that it cuts out and u have to click forward a channel then change back for it to play correct? Or is that just my end? If that is not it, what is wrong with it?

We've looked into that bug so many times. I haven't been able to figure it out, neither has Blue. It's likely just a Graal issue.

Do you guys know any websites that can host a playlist that will work with era radio?

This sounds really cool. We gotta get people to do this again. Someone could even host like a talk show and stuff.
