A Ghost of Zen Past
 

There is a lot of nostalgia here. I figured I'd peak my head up and say "Hi."

Microsoft recycled my old email address at some point so I lost access to this account after I retired. I did peak every now and then over the years as a guest and I was flattered to see a birthday thread as recently as last year.

I wonder how many are still around that I crossed paths with years ago?

Quick life updates:

• I graduated college about 4 years ago
• I've been married for about 3 years
• I'm now active duty military

I'm busy now with work but I will likely download the client at some point soon and see how the game feels again. I think it would be very interesting just to see what things are like now. Generally, I only poke around with Civ5 or a simple browser-based dice game. I can't really invest too much time in games anymore. Still, I'd like to see how things are here.

Anyways, it would be cool to see who says Hello back, and I may try to browse this community a little more regularly in the future.

Hi Zen! This is Mirar :)! You probably don't remember me, but I was in Zormite when you, and then later Wren, were in charge. I played GK all the time as a kid and have lots of very fond memories of the game, most of which came from being in Zormite while it was such a fun & welcoming community :)

I actually just started playing again a few months ago after like 10 years of being away (like you say, the nostalgia is overwhelming!) and it's been great getting to see old faces wander by to say hello on occasion. So nice to hear you're doing well & please visit us again soon <3!

Thank you very much for that comment! I appreciate that you still value that time and I am glad you felt I left a positive impact. I noticed that kingdom's forum is still called "Zormite Republic." Is it still referred to in this way or is that simply a relic of a bygone era? haha. I remember that change being so polarizing for a time.
