f2 doesnt display echo()s when text is highlighted

hello!

i was using echo() to test my awesome script and noticed that the text in f2/game doesnt update if i have text highlighted, which happens a lot if i am copying text from it

this also happens when the window isnt visible

can this possibly be fixed?
