gs2 IDE
Is there one of these? I could have sworn I used one in the past but I've been searching for the last hour and haven't found anything...
|
No, not really. Just a big text box with line numbering. Not even find and replace.
Some people have probably started projects but I'm not aware of anybody actually creating a functioning IDE. If I were you I would just get one of the GS2 syntax highlighting rules a few people have developed and port it to your preferred text editor if you're not fond of RC. I don't really know what else you want from an IDE. |
Who actually needs GS2 syntax highlighting... C/C++ or Javascript's highlighting will suffice, which comes in every modern text editor really... Not quite sure of the point of a GS2 IDE though... I like that on RC you can interactively test it as you are creating your script. (which, sadly, is a must in Gs2 >.<')

RC2 is the IDE.

I'm not planning on putting a server up yet. I guess I can just use the level editor. Was just wondering if there was something else.

I was kind of looking for something like this:
