Era Big Event Idea

Era’s Last Stand

Players will spawn in a small military containment camp for a 5 minute briefing. Afterwards the gates will open and another 5 minutes is given for all players to leave the camp before getting kicked.
Players without weapons or ammo will be provided a temporary weapon for the event at the camp.

After two minutes, someone is randomly picked as the “King” infected has a large amount of HP, speed, and bite radius. This player will also spawn in a random location after being chosen.

3 Teams:
1. The Infected (Players): Slower walk speed than infected
2. The Survivors (Players): Faster walk speed with every kill
3. The Military (Staff): Faster walk speed, more resistant to infected bites
The military’s job is to assist survivor’s as much as possible using resources given to them by default such as helicopters.

Modifications:
The game will be played on a duplicated era gmap, which also means all buildings and sewers will be accessible.
Additions to the map will include being able to create barricades by using whatever you can find.

Winners:
1.The player who is the last standing will have choice of a reward.
2.The player who infected the most will also be able to choose their reward.
3.The player who revives the most infected players and they will gain a choice between [10 Event coins] or [3 Mystery Coins].

Everyone who participates will be rewarded with [1 Event coin]. (Yay we’re all winners)

sounds Fun but please no lag limit its already lagging hard i cant even play any event.

I was thinking about these mods:
-The event would take place in a dark environment to give a creepy feel
-There would be a crawl feature so a person could crawl for say 30 seconds and they wouldn't be seen by the infected. Then you would have to wait for a recharge to be able to crawl again

Edit: Also I think that randomly choosing someone to be king would probably make someone mad. Maybe a staff should be king infected? Or at least give whoever spawns as king some compensation considering the prizes involved at the end.

Hm, Zombie Mode for Era? Sounds like the eventuality that was bound to happen.

Great idea, but skew the winner's choices to a list of certain items. A list which consists of different items every event.

I would make the participation prize 5 ECs. Being a zombie sucks when players are moving at 2.0 speed after killing 10 zombies. I would just leave at that point if I have no chance to win the zombie prize.
1 EC for at the very least a 15 minute event isn't that great. (or maybe base the reward they get off how many kills they get as a zombie.)

Also, instead of randomly choosing someone to be the King zombie, you could have it based on skill (or volunteerism).
Everyone starts off in a room where waves of zombies (NPCs) pour in, and the first one to die (or sacrifice themself) becomes the king.
obviously once a king is chosen, you just warp everyone back out to the map and resume the event as usual.

And maybe let people become recruited to the military after a certain number of zombie kills?

And one more thing. I hope you spend extra time considering how to balance against people just hiding in the water.
My suggestions on how to deal with it would be:
a) let zombies melee in water (by itself wouldn't solve the problem, as the water is a vast expanse of empty space where players can easily evade zombies)
b) make the water infected (damages players over time)
c) zombie sharks (attack players as if they're bleeding whether they are or not)
d) slow survivors significantly when they're swimming.

but despite all the pro-zombie stuff I suggested, don't make them too overpowered.

This Idea is awesome.

The ideas to defeat the water problem is good. I would like to add a decrease in speed when in the water, as in realism. Slow it down a bit more. Also you would like to nullify the Light Weight potion in this as well.

Zombies speed should be about .50 - .75 Humans speed 1.00. Military 1.10. Because military are specially trained and go through so much training. Zombies should have to bite you once to have you infected but you get say.. a 20 minute wait until your turned unless a anti-dote is found. Also.. Make the Anti-Dotes almost impossible to find.
