Do you like the automatic ctrl-z emoticon on your player if you afk for 20 minutes or so? (this is a private poll, no one will be able to see what you voted for)

I think it'd be overflowing trade if we had 45-50 players a day like we had for a long time, and most holidays, and we should be positive about having a lot of players again in the future

And I sir, am positive that if we had that many players again that we would not have all idlers.. 45 players never idled on gk at once.. if your only concern is more players = more idlers that sounds like a negative attitude twards the progression of GK.. :o

my only concern with this update is that there WILL be idlers if we have 45 players daily, seeing with 10 players daily we have 8 idlers, this could mean up to 35 players out of 45 would be temporarily inactive. When the server did have a lot of players, there was always 20+ idlers, and this would cause unnecessary flood of ctrl + z emoticons.

So 8 out of 10 is an 80% idle... and your saying 20+ idlers of aprox 45.. which is less then 50%.. seems like a pattern.. more players = less idlers..

if it's that annoying to you, remove the gani from your graal folder or change it to show nothing.. o.O

then the idle animation should be something other than ctrl+z.. maybe like /sleep animation or whatever

That was another thought i had, sleep would still show noobs who run off because no one helps them because it looks like there there but there not.. lately ive seen ner players with under 10 minutes logon.. and they know whats up.. they dont ask the people with the "z"'s for help.. they go straight for the other people.. it's like god gave them a sign (or graal) that those players are unhelpfull right then and there.

why not ctrl+a

because anything that displays an image is "annoying" I guess.. i don't know. afk, brb, and z seem all logical.. sleep gani would be acceptable too.. imagine you are trying to show someone across a language barrier that does not understand anything anyone says.. u need to relay the message this person isnt here.. any of those are univeral in all languages.. pretty much..

everyone is just throwing a fit that there screen is getting flooded.. while they idle and they themself too are contributing to the "clutter" o.O makes no sense to me..

i mean why not remove all the clutter? make players who are idle completely invisable.. players who are new wont see them and wont waste there time trying to talk to them.. people who are playing wont be distracted by there prescence.. and you wont have a false representation of active players in the level.. everyone wins

It should disconnect you like other servers do.

i don't think this server has the luxery of playercount like we do :}

And forum's and client should be more closely integraded so people can leave me a message becasue these people NEVER forum pm me and go.. omg your alive still.. ofc i have i just live on the forums not any pc server until classic releases the next quest or something repetative thats nt tcg i can do alone with no other players

Agreed. I never cared for the no disconnection change. They do it on Era now too. :(

right now I'd be all for disconnecting idlers. maybe if the playercount stayed at 0 long enough people would realize that more needs to be done than kingdom wars and (badly) recycled holiday events

It comes off as more desperate to me than anything. I really am not trying to sound like a douche but it's really hard not to when it comes to GK.

If they integrated the forums and client more-so.. so people could leave other people whom are offline messages.. I would be totally all over supporting dc idlers.. they know they need better updates.. its not rocket science.. I've gotten into a few people recently because of the no d/c feature.. which helped 2 servers progress development.. at least if gk isnt being improved other servers can be.. guess it works out for the best. unless you guys hate graal being improved.. o.O

I think it's neat. It quicker then pressing F7 to see whos ignoring me or whos legit not acive.. nice job
