Offline GS2 Editor
 

I think this is the right place to put this. A good improvement to the graal editor is for someone to make a separate GS2 offline editor, so if someone wants to script GS2 so they get gold, but they realize that they are terrible at scripting, and when they finally get good their gold runs out. However if they practice offline first, they can start good and maybe get a position on a server which will encourage them to get gold again.

This has been requested many times. I think a more appropriate solution would be automating Testbed more (adding players, setting up some special sandboxing, etc) and making it free to all players. This would have to be done by Stefan and would take some time, but would be a worthy investment.

GS2 offline in the editor would still lack an npcserver, which is essential for most scripts.

Is there anyway to contact Stefan so that he will listen?

Stefan reads all of the suggestions in the Future Improvements subforum. Whether or not you'll get a response is a different story because Stefan is very busy and cannot respond to every thread. He is aware that some things for GS2 are needed, but right now we are focusing on other things.

Can you just tell us whether or not this is going to happen? The usual, expected result is a big no with the explaination of "Security Exploitation".

I just don't like the idea of this message after the past results of others requesting the same thing.

I don't think anybody is asking him to respond to every thread, the frustration lies in the fact that he seems to have selective vision, replying to pointless threads/posts while generally ignoring issues of higher importance or potential benefit. Same applies to emails sent by multiple different people concerning important PlayerWorld related issues, spread over a very long time.
