Multiplayer Offline

I know this is a silly question and I think I know the answer, but just to be sure, is there any way to play with more than one person offline, other than making an rc. Also if I use an rc, how do I set the keyboard buttons that are used for it and which buttons they are.

Nope. Not sure what you mean by "make an rc". RC is a tool used to connect to an online server.

What I mean by rc is a remote control player, so it's an npc which you can control and move and attack around with different buttons. However your screen can't follow it and it does not have an inventory.

I think it would be cool if players could play via a local network. So you can have lets say four computers that are connected play an offline level or gmap to just have fun or help develop.

Or use Hamachi?

We can't even get Stefan to release the latest version of the Game client. He's sure as hell not going to build in LAN games.

There is always the unspeakable evil.

Who knows, he responds to little to no importance threads, but ignores the big ones.

Or deletes a picture depicting burial of head in sand, while neglecting to address serious concerns raised within said thread.

I remember the days where it was possible to play offline multiplayer (though it was only split screen).

As for LAN connection, Unless you have money in his face, he won't say yes.

That would pretty much make online server's useless. Didn't the old graal work similar to LAN? You ran the gserver on your pc, other people typed your ip and connected to you, on a lan you would enter your standard 192.168.*.* and connect to it that way.

But for offline, it wont ever happen. Personally I think the offline editor is dead and needs to be implemented with in-game external scripted windows...
