This is bad.. I suggest you just look at tutorials and other threads and take notes on what others do..

Bayne_graal 06-10-2012 09:37 PM

-_- i read those tutorials 10 times! there not helpful only crono's an wandamans is spanky was helpful but you have to be good at outsides.

Obviously when you read them 10 times over, you didn't take anything from them, because otherwise you wouldn't have created something like this. -_-.. Sorry to sound so rude, but it's the truth.

Your levels are way to rushed...Here's your recipe for success:http://forums.graal2001.com/forums/s...threadid=21371
Do everything in steps and you'll go fine even if you aren't as good as the op of the tutorial. You just have to recognise good levels take time!

don't be so harsh. reading a few tutorials isn't going to make him an expert over night. everything takes practice, even with guidance from people who know what they're doing.

If you already arent a good artist, leveling is something you progress in overtime. Not something you can rush, just something you have to let happen.

Bayne_graal 06-13-2012 11:02 PM

Can i see your levels an not the bomberman you made XD

Stowen 06-13-2012 11:07 PM

Bayne. You don't listen to people. You are too repetitive with your levels. Everything is too damn straight. Don't use the same direction more than twice! I try to always switch of the directions of things, it looks very awkward when everything is too straight. You don't look out your window and see a straight mountain, or dirt patches in your law aren't perfect squares are they? You dont go to the ocean, and see a perfectly straight cliff-side do you? No you don't. The point: CHANGE DIRECTION OF OBJECTS ALOT MORE OFTEN!

Bayne_graal 06-13-2012 11:27 PM

Well thank you stowen i will keep that in mind i just can't learn were all cliff pieces are an how i style paths a certain direction.

I totally get where you're coming from about finding cliff pieces lol.

Are you going to add to the level by using the feedback that was given? I haven't seen you do that in any of the threads you post. If you are asking for help, use it.

I agree, this is a very important step in learning.
