Please Disable Mass Messages to other servers on Login & Login 2.
Getting sick and tired of being spammed to death from idiots massing hack sites and account fishing sites =/ Accounts have been reported to globals but none of them can keep em banned long enough or permanently. So instead of doing nothing, why not just disable mass messaging on Login & Logins 2 until someone capable of fixing the situation is able to do so.

They're not massing, they are sending PMs to individual players. Just disable global PMs would be your best bet.

Limit the PMing from login and login 2 to people with Classic and Gold only?

Honestly, if you're not a classic or gold, you shouldn't be able to send global messages to anyone except for RCs (Accounts could be banned and need a way to contact staff).

Every time im online + all the reports i am getting, they are mass messages

As a GP I can't really disable global PMs; i can but it will hurt my little network i have going on with other GP's & Admins on other servers.

To be honest, this is an issue that has been need of being fixed for a while; however, the recent spam fest of Graal hack / Account fishing sites have just gone a little to far.

There are numerous remedies to fix this problem;however, each problem requires a Global or stefan to do something.

The idea of restricting pms to only Gold / Classic Accounts from Login & Login 2 seems to be the easiest thing to do.

Another idea vouched to me when i was on tag earlier was simply disabling the option of bringing up the player list when you are on Login & Login 2. Which would be a downfall if you are trying to find out which server your friends are on atm. A fix to this would be disabling playerlist from being brought up if your account is not Classic or Gold status.

Bottom line is this:
My self and GPs from other servers are getting tired of being spammed to death by the hackers on Login & Login 2; then being spammed again by players who are reporting said individual, then spammed again by the gullible newbies who fall for it.

Why can't website links be disabled on login1 and 2 instead?
Why not limit how many times you can post per minute..
Why disable messaging entirely

1st and 2nd suggestions, perfectly okay.

But I like to message my friends through login when I don't want to deal with other people.

If there was simply an option "Receive PMs from Friends Only"
That would be the easiest solution to me.

I suggest we make Login more simple to avoid hackers to sending globals

Making it you can only message friends.


This can easily be abused (Going on servers adding people, back to login technique)

So adding people should have to send you a message in F7, not interrupting game-play but it can be like this

Guess can't have friends (lol), no but guest cannot send request.

Even though the adding system can be annoying, it will also stop hackers from sending out messages (For now ?) !
