Classic Rename
 

In agreement with a specified condition from Stefan and Unixmad towards the eventual removal of observer mode, Classic will now be known as Classique:

So will the rest of the server be in French as well?

The name change isn't aimed at attracting players from France, but for the sake of sounding trendy for a higher quality server.

It's a painful sacrifice I admit, but that's nothing I'm not used to. Agreeing to rename Classic to Classique will help the server to thrive.

If you're referring to the new logo, it was made very hastily as I only received the request for this name change as a condition last night. I agree we can certainly create something better.

I wasn't even on Era, but it seems like whatever he did would be a huge pain in the arse.

All I did was change most fonts to Comic Sans, flip nicknames upside-down, flip the HUD upside-down, flip bullets backwards, and a few other small easter eggs. The people complaining are just complaining because I'm the one who did it. There's nothing that even remotely impedes upon gameplay.

The best April Fool's pranks are the ones that are harmless but show that a lot of thought and effort were put into them, or at least invoke a laugh(Google does it best, folks!). The last-minute **** that people pull out of their ass because they HAVE TO because it's APRIL FOOLS, YOU GOTTA DO SOMETHING!!!! is annoying. If you can't do it well don't do it at all and leave it to the pros.
