Combat released!
 

Valikorlia is a roleplaying server, and thus most of our combat is done through text, with each player stating their actions and responses to others. However, once in a while you'd just like to whip out your blade and go at it.

We've implemented a simple combat system using our gani weapons, usually used for a visual aid. Unsheathe your weapon and you will have an HP bar, and can fight anyone else who has their weapon drawn.

This combat can be used in place of text combat for simplicity or quickness, or just to kill some time (and your friends)! There are no penalties for death, nor any rewards, as we are not a PK server.

However, this can add a new dimension to your roleplaying or just give you a pleasant distraction. We will implement some fun games you can play using these...

NOTE: While this system is free to use and enjoy, using it to interrupt RPers is NOT acceptable and will get you a warning, with jailtime for those who continue. We want you to have fun with this, but please do so in a respectful manner!

Looks really nice, continue putting work into the Combat System. Make it the most original and and awesome system you can come up with, it's one of the most important aspects of any game.

Lvl/exp sys is in development.

Add magic and make pvp decent and youve got yourself a new nonrp player

this is my main concern as well.

please dont make auto hit spells that you cannot dodge like on zodiac/wow...

make the RPG system simple and about skill over having to grind for 3k hours for epic uber rare gear that defines how good you are like zod. some people like me dont have time to grind all day everyday just to be able to PVP.

the old system on val was great beacause even if you were slightly lower level you still could use better footwork to kill them. it has those simple weapon mastery's too.

and please chill on jailing anyone that PVP or gets near RPers

Val will always be a roleplaying server first, PVP comes second to RP. The PVP and RPG aspects will be for the enjoyment of players who will also roleplay with eachother.

Definitely like to see spells, even if it's just cosmetic stuff.

Do you want to have your weapon out to add excitement to an RP without fear of being PKed? Maybe you just want to stand around looking cool to impress the ladies (or men!). Either way, we have you covered. You can now press P to toggle PK mode on and off. You can also now punch by default using the S key when you don't have a weapon drawn.
