magic & power
I think there needs to be a stat to effect the power of your spells. I think the power stat should actually increase it

I don't see a reason behind it though...why on earth would you have an MMO mage class, but leveling up your magic doesn't give you any benefits besides addition mana? Even that really isn't a benefit because every level the mana requirement for spells goes up...
it's sad to think that you're best off stopping at 18 magic level. I think that should be fixed so that leveling magic doesn't -ONLY- hurt you past 18 magic.
Otherwise, Magic spells are increased by attunements. I'm sure you know that, but take advantage of them as well as you can. |
Not sure if it had to do with level, but my spells are way weaker as a trial than as a gold member.
What'd you test it on? The only thing that should change would be your spells being quite a bit shorter, damage should be the same.
Leveling magic and wisdom increases damage with spells/prayers.
Yup. And the drawback is an increase in casting costs, if I'm not mistaken. That's really the bigger issue that players run into as their levels increase.
ya my large bullets cost like 20 sp it's retarded
Static casting costs is something we should also push much harder for as well. Just sayin'.
lol well u can strengthen spells outside of leveling by getting atonement.. ur welcome ;)

Me (70 magic) and someone 22 magic tested their bullets w/o attunements, it was the same exact damage varying only a few damage. My bullet storm cost 39 compared to their 19. It's significantly less for every spell at a low magic level. |
I honestly haven't noticed a difference between something like 30 magic and my current 61 magic versus players. Versus monsters though, its obvious that it works as intended.
I agree that mana scaling with levels needs to be fixed since its terrible as is |
